PLEASE NOTE THAT THE FIRST BREAKFAST CLUB WILL BE ON MONDAY 3RD OCTOBER. (We have reception children settling in until then)
We are delighted that Little Owl is going to be running a breakfast club in the School Hall from Autumn term 2016. The club will run from 8 am to 9 am, with the school-age children joining their classes at 8.45 and the pre-schoolers reading quietly with one staff member until LO opens at 9 am. Breakfast club will run Monday to Thursday and we have enough children to ensure that it will be available all year.
Please drop your children at 8 am, delivering them to the Hall entrance (the one on the left of the school) as the main doors will not be open at this time.
Children will have breakfast, and then there will be an opportunity to play (with lego etc), draw or read. Please note that electronic devices (Ipads or pods etc) are not allowed in breakfast club.
The cost per morning session will be £4.75, though we aim (as always) to drop the price as soon as we can, when more children sign up. This includes breakfast (cereal and toast). Little Owl is non-profit making and all prices are dictated by the real cost to LO of running these sessions.
All bookings for Breakfast Club must be made in advance with Little Owl (not through the school). As long as your child is registered with the club (we need a medical and personal details form), we can accept bookings on an occasional basis. Please give us as much warning as you can. Contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org.
Invoicing and Payment: Parents will be invoiced for pre-booked sessions half-termly in advance, and may pay with childcare vouchers, cheque or by bank transfer. Extra sessions may be added with 24 hours’ notice, dependent on spaces being available. The maximum number of children in each session is 16 and we cannot exceed this, even in an emergency. These extra ad hoc sessions will be added to your next invoice. Please pay all invoices before the end of the first full week of school term.
Cancellation Policy: Booked sessions cancelled with 10 working days’ notice may be swapped for similar sessions during the same invoice period, provided that we can accommodate the children on the day requested in lieu. This may not always be possible, though we will make every attempt to accommodate changes. Refunds cannot be offered after 10 working days before the start of the half-term in question. In exceptional dire circumstances (given in writing), the Little Owl Committee will consider applications for refunds.
